Why am I involved in the Lab?
I can see no reason why I wouldn’t be involved. To be able to provide opportunities to people who would otherwise not have access to them is rewarding in so many ways. Everyone deserves a chance to pursue their passion.

What is my job title?
Group Human Resources Director, Europe Publicis Health

What does that mean?
I lead our people strategy and the People Team. This touches all aspects of what it means to work within any of our agencies. At Publicis Health, we put people first in our thinking, our business decisions and our relationships with clients.

When will I meet you in The Lab recruitment process?
At the Assessment Day and when you join us!

What makes me proud about working for Publicis Health?
How far we have come as a company in the last 5 years. It is amazing. The calibre of people, the ideas, innovation and creativity is staggering. I am deeply touched by the work executed by our people which changes the lives of patients, relatives, doctors and carers, for the better.

Why am I involved in the Lab?
It is a powerful initiative that finds special people who may become my colleagues. It provides an open playing-field for people to discover and enter into the world of health and wellbeing communications. It enables people the chance to experience what it is that we do. Over the last 2 years, we have found people who have made us think differently and change the way we do things… we want to keep on doing this. The Lab generates ideas for our charity partners and clients from the Assessment day Donwards, these may then go on to be used within campaigns and projects.

When will I meet you in The Lab recruitment process?
Some of you will hear from me in September as I’ll be one of the team carrying out screening calls, I’ll also be around during the Assessment Day as I am based in Kensington Village. For those of you who are successful, I’ll act as your first point of contact in the People Team throughout your Lab experience.

What makes me proud about working for Publicis Health?
The Publicis Health network is so varied yet everyone who works here has a fantastic work ethic and is supportive of others’ successes.  I am proud to work for a company that consistently places emphasis on employee wellbeing and diversity through programmes such as Healthy You, Viva Women and Egalité.

Why am I involved in the Lab?
I believe that those with a passion for the creative industry and the desire to work hard should have a chance to demonstrate what they are capable of without formal qualifications acting as a barrier to success. The previous candidates that we have found from The Lab are proof that, when raw talent is nurtured, it can lead to something very special.  I am excited to see what bright sparks we can attract to Publicis Health this year because I’m confident that we will find people with the potential to be future industry leaders.

What's my job title?
Resource Coordinator, UK Publicis Health

What does that mean?
I make sure that we have the right people in the right place at the right time to complete projects for our clients across the agencies at KV. I organize the creative’s days to make sure they have the time they need to get work done. When we have too much work for our permanent team to complete I find the right freelancers to come in and support them.

When will I meet you in The Lab recruitment process?
Some of you will hear from me in September as I’ll be one of the team carrying out screening calls, I’ll also be supporting during the Assessment Day and leading one of the tasks.

What makes me proud about working for Publicis Health?
Publicis Health is by far the most focused on employee wellbeing and building a fun, creative, collaborative culture than any other place I have worked. The work our agencies produce doesn’t just sell a fizzy drink or a new t-shirt, the products and campaigns we are involved in help change the lives of patients, their relatives, doctors and carers for good. The work our agencies do not only helps promote medication and treatments, it also raises awareness of diseases and what it feels like to have a certain condition from the well-known to the very rare and some conditions that are practically unpronounceable! It doesn’t just make patients feel physically better and improve their quality of life, it also shows them that even in sometimes very difficult and emotionally challenging situations that they are not alone.

Why am I involved in the Lab?
People learn in different ways, some are academic and others are more learn-on-the-job, so I don’t think judging people purely on formal qualifications is necessarily the best measure of potential. I strongly believe that if someone has passion, drive, they are willing to learn and work hard they should be given a chance to prove themselves. So far we have found a number of ‘bright sparks’ through The Lab with this approach, people with buckets of raw talent that the agencies have helped them to develop and refine to become invaluable members of the Publicis Health family. Each year The Lab has gone from strength to strength and I am immensely excited to see the candidates we can attract this year to join our business family and take their first steps into their bright creative industry careers.
